Set inside a sprawling beachfront mansion in
Southern California known as Graceland, the series follows an eclectic mix of undercover federal agents from the FBI, DEA, and ICE who live together under one roof. The narrative kicks off with the arrival of Mike Warren, a brilliant, rule-abiding top graduate from the FBI academy. Initially assigned to Graceland as a routine evaluation of legendary FBI agent Paul Briggs—whom Mike idolizes—Mike is quickly pulled into the dangerous, morally gray underbelly of deep-cover work.Briggs, a deeply flawed and enigmatic veteran agent, becomes Mike’s reluctant mentor. As they navigate high-stakes operations targeting ruthless drug cartels, Russian mobsters, and weapon smugglers, Mike learns that survival in Graceland requires abandoning black-and-white morality. The house dynamic is further complicated by the other residents: the fiercely independent DEA agent Charlie DeMarco, who battles
personal demons while infiltrating dangerous cartels; the easygoing yet cunning DEA agent Dale Jakes; and Johnny Tuturro, a warm-hearted rookie struggling to prove his worth.Throughout the first season, a central mystery emerges involving the disappearance of a missing agent, Juan Badillo, which casts a long shadow of suspicion over Briggs. Mike’s investigation into Briggs unearths a labyrinth of lies, betrayal, and dark secrets, culminating in a devastating revelation that Briggs was responsible for Badillo’s death—though the truth is far more complex than murder, tied to a secret informant program gone terribly wrong. As the series progresses into subsequent seasons, the boundaries between law enforcement and criminality blur further. The agents face relentless external threats, including the ruthless kingpin known as Sid Markham and the terrifying human-trafficking ring run by the Solano cartel. Mike struggles with an escalating addiction to painkillers, a consequence of being poisoned during a case, which compromises his judgment and turns him into a ruthless operative willing to sacrifice anything to secure a conviction.Relationships within the house fracture and reform under the immense psychological toll of their jobs. Charlie endures a harrowing kidnapping and torture ordeal that permanently scars her, while Briggs seeks redemption through increasingly perilous stunts, attempting to protect his housemates while wrestling with his own guilt. The series ultimately builds to a relentless crescendo of shifting allegiances, tragic sacrifices, and desperate gambles, forcing the surviving agents to decide whether the bonds forged in Graceland are strong enough to withstand the absolute corruption of their souls, or if they will all burn together in the pursuit of justice.
