Margot, a young filmmaker abandoned by her mother as an infant, decides to investigate her past and uncover the truth about her biological family. Accompanied by her cameraman Dale and sound recordist Chris, Margot travels to a remote Amish-style community in rural Pennsylvania, where her mother’s relatives—the Beilers—reside.
