Jeetu, a hapless and heavily indebted young man, finds himself drowning in financial obligations imposed by his stern father and greedy creditors. Desperate to escape his miserable reality and spare his family further humiliation, Jeetu decides to fake his own suicide by leaving his shoes by the edge of a turbulent river. He intends to live in hiding until his debts are miraculously settled. However, fate takes a chaotic turn when the rushing river sweeps him away and washes him ashore in a completely different region, where he is promptly netted and rescued by a quirky group of fishermen.Believing that revealing his true identity will land him in jail for fraud or send him back to his creditors, Jeetu adopts a ruse of silence, pretending to be both deaf and mute. The fishermen sell him off to a ruthless, debt-ridden Gujarati businessman named Prabhat Singh, who needs a servant to work off a loan. Thrown into Prabhat's chaotic household, Jeetu must navigate his precarious existence while maintaining his elaborate charade. Adding to the tension is Shruti, Prabhat's fiery and rebellious niece who has been unjustly exiled to the household due to a past family scandal. Initially at odds, Shruti and the perpetually silent servant develop a peculiar bond. Shruti finds solace in confiding her deepest frustrations to Jeetu, assuming his silence makes him the ultimate confidant. Over time, empathy blossoms into passionate romance, complicated by the fact that Jeetu cannot speak a word without blowing his cover.Complications multiply exponentially when Jeetu’s true identity is accidentally discovered by the household, forcing him to confess the entire backstory of his faked suicide and financial ruin. Instead of punishing him, Prabhat and his
eccentric family grow sympathetic, recognizing his good heart and genuine remorse. Just as Jeetu and Shruti prepare to unite, the plot thickens with the arrival of Jeetu's distraught family from his hometown, who are still mourning his supposed death, alongside Pooja, a woman from Jeetu's past whose own family honor is tied to him. Hilarity and high drama ensue as mistaken identities, passionate outbursts, and emotional confessions collide under one roof. Ultimately, the tangled webs of deception unravel. Jeetu’s debts are metaphorically and literally confronted, old wounds among the families are healed through forgiveness and mature
understanding, and the barriers keeping the lovers apart are permanently dismantled, allowing Jeetu and Shruti to finally embrace their future together.
