The narrative centers on Chloe, a dedicated lifestyle blogger and expectant mother who is preparing a comprehensive digital guide on pregnancy, and her equally eager husband, Marcus, a local high school sports coach. Driven by a desire to share a flawless roadmap for prospective parents, Chloe attempts to curate every aspect of her journey. However, the emotional turbulence of impending parenthood soon begins to test their relationship, especially as unexpected financial pressures and shifting domestic expectations start to strain their once-harmonious bond.To gain firsthand insight for her expanding platform, Chloe decides to organize a series of intimate support workshops at her home. She invites three distinct local couples, each navigating their own unconventional paths toward parenthood. Among them are Sarah and Julian, longtime high school sweethearts struggling with unexpected fertility hurdles that bring underlying resentments to the surface. Also joining the group are Mia and Dave, an adventurous millennial duo who view the impending birth as an exciting, bohemian experiment, much to the quiet anxiety of their more traditional family members. Finally, the group includes Nina and Robert, mature parents-to-be whose sudden, unplanned pregnancy disrupts their meticulously planned retirement and established career goals. As the weekly sessions unfold, the initial facade of perfection begins to crumble. Chloe's carefully orchestrated online persona clashes with the messy, unpredictable reality of her changing body and escalating marital tensions. Marcus, feeling increasingly sidelined by his wife's relentless documentation of their personal lives, struggles to express his own fears regarding fatherhood and financial stability. Tensions reach a dramatic climax during a televised baby shower event when a heated argument between Marcus and Chloe accidentally streams live to thousands of viewers, forcing the couple to drop their pretenses and confront their true vulnerabilities. In the aftermath of the broadcast, Chloe and Marcus realize that love and parenthood cannot be scripted. Inspired by this breakthrough, the remaining couples also use the chaotic honesty of the workshops to mend their differences. Sarah and Julian learn to communicate without blame, Mia and Dave embrace a more grounded outlook on family life, and Nina and Robert find common ground in their shared excitement. Ultimately, the film concludes with the joyful arrival of the babies, depicting the families bonded not by perfection, but by resilience, mutual support, and the genuine, unvarnished realities of raising children together.
