Set years after the previous biological outbreaks, the notorious chemical Trioxin-5 surfaces in a small college town, disguised as a new designer club drug known simply as "Z". College student Julian and his friends stumble upon the lethal substance and, unaware of its apocalyptic properties, decide to capitalize on it by selling the drug at an upcoming, massive Halloween-themed rave party held in an abandoned local prison.Meanwhile, Julian's uncle, Charles Gaines—a survivor of the past military cover-ups—discovers that the chemical is circulating again.
