Desperate to regain his fading fame, Daffy Duck storms into the office of Warner Bros. Vice President of Comedy, Kate Houghton, demanding equal billing and pay with Bugs Bunny. When Kate dismisses him, newly fired stuntman and aspiring actor DJ Drake tackles Daffy, accidentally causing chaos on the backlot. DJ is actually the son of Damien Drake, a famous actor who plays a suave, James Bond-type secret agent in his films, but is secretly a real-life spy for the studio.Shortly after, Damian is kidnapped by the nefarious Chairman of the Acme Corporation, who seeks the mystical and powerful Blue Monkey Diamond, a gem capable of turning human water into gold. Damien manages to tip off DJ, urging him to find the diamond before Acme does. Meanwhile, Kate is tasked by studio executives to fire Daffy and rehire Bugs, but Bugs insists on bringing Daffy along, forcing Kate to chase after the chaotic duo.DJ crosses paths with Bugs and Daffy at his chaotic Los Angeles home, and the trio accidentally hitches a ride on a studio car driven by Kate. Realizing Damien is in grave danger, the group embarks on a globe-trotting adventure to locate the Blue Monkey Diamond. However, they are relentlessly pursued by Mr. Chairman’s top henchmen, the robotic and trigger-happy Mr. Smith, along with Wile E. Coyote and Yosemite Sam, leading to a series of slapstick chases and near-misses.The trail eventually leads them to the dense jungles of Africa, where they locate Area 52, a top-secret government facility run by the eccentric Mother. Here, they discover advanced gadgets and encounter a menagerie of classic cartoon characters. However, Acme’s forces attack the facility, capturing the team and stealing the diamond.Transported to Las Vegas, Mr. Chairman straps the heroes to a chair and reveals his ultimate master plan: to use a satellite weapon powered by the diamond's energy to blast the Earth with a beam that transforms humanity into mindless, consumerist Acme drones. Daffy undergoes a miraculous transformation, accidentally embracing his inner superhero as "Duck Dodgers" and using a cartoonish ray gun to thwart the Chairman's henchmen. In the climactic showdown, the Chairman accidentally zaps himself with the diamond's energy, transforming into a towering, unstable creature of pure gold. Bugs Bunny manages to outsmart the mutated Chairman, tricking him into stepping onto a platform that launches him into outer space, permanently neutralizing the threat. With the world saved, Damien Drake reunites with his proud son, and Kate finally appreciates the frantic charm of the Looney Tunes. DJ decides to pursue acting on his own terms, while Bugs and Daffy return to the Hollywood backlot, where Daffy finally gets the last word.
