During the transit, an elite mercenary group led by the ruthless Baroness ambushes the convoy. The G.I. Joe team mounts a massive, full-scale assault on the Arctic base. In the climactic showdown, Snake Eyes defeats his fallen brother-figure-turned-enemy, Storm Shadow, while Duke confronts Rex, ultimately curing the Baroness of her hypnotic conditioning and saving her from Rex's wrath.
