The film follows two desperate brothers on the run: Seth Gecko, a cynical and calculating criminal, and Richie Gecko, his severely unstable, sexually unhinged younger brother who recently broke Seth out of prison. When Richie attempts to assault her, she abruptly transforms into a grotesque, fanged bat-creature and bites into his neck.Chaos instantly erupts as the entire staff and clientele of the bar are revealed to be bloodthirsty Mesoamerican vampires. With the nightmare finally over, a blood-soaked Seth parts ways with Kate, taking his share of the heist money and riding off alone into the desert sunrise, leaving Kate to cope with the unbelievable trauma.
