Gerri Dandridge, a charismatic and seductive college professor in Romania, is secretly a centuries-old vampire yearning for fresh blood to sustain her eternal existence. Meanwhile, teenager Charley Brewster travels abroad on a study-abroad trip with his skeptical best friend Ed Bates and his heartbroken ex-girlfriend Amy Peterson, still reeling from their recent painful breakup.
