Set in the gritty underbelly of London, the film follows Okwe, an undocumented Nigerian immigrant and former medical doctor who works night shifts at a rundown hotel. Driven by a desperate need to survive and earn enough money to forge legal documents to return home, Okwe works tirelessly alongside Senay, a proud Turkish asylum seeker who cleans rooms by day and seizes every illegal odd job she can to avoid deportation by immigration authorities. The plot takes a sinister turn when Okwe uncovers a human organ-trafficking ring operating within the hotel. While unclogging a toilet in one of the luxury suites, he discovers a human heart lodged in the pipes. He learns that the hotel's charming and manipulative manager, Sneider, is orchestrating an illicit scheme. Sneider preys on desperate, undocumented immigrants, trading freshly harvested kidneys in exchange for forged passports and safe passage out of the country.Meanwhile, Senay faces mounting pressure. Desperate for a passport to escape her precarious existence and reach New York, she finally caves to Sneider’s horrifying proposition, agreeing to give up one of her kidneys in exchange for her freedom and legal papers. Upon discovering Senay's fateful decision, Okwe is horrified and determined to save her from the physical mutilation and moral compromise. He recognizes the immense danger and knows that Sneider's operation is fraught with fatal medical and legal consequences.Okwe devises a daring and complex plan to outsmart Sneider, rescue Senay, and secure their futures. Pretending to cooperate, Okwe uses his medical expertise to perform the illicit surgery himself, but secretly plots to turn the tables on the ruthless manager. During the scheduled night of the operation, Okwe drugs Sneider and cleverly manipulates the situation. Instead of harvesting Senay's kidney, Okwe uses the opportunity to remove Sneider’s own kidney instead, using Sneider's black-market contacts to secure the forged passports that both Okwe and Senay desperately need.In the dramatic aftermath, Sneider is left incapacitated and trapped by his own
criminal network, while Okwe and Senay successfully acquire their fraudulent passports. However, knowing that his presence still endangers her, Okwe ultimately decides to leave London alone, parting ways with Senay at the
train station. Senay boards a bus headed for a new life in New York, while Okwe walks away into the dawn, finally free and heading toward an uncertain but hopeful future.
