Following the tragic death of his beloved Valeria, the wandering Cimmerian warrior Conan finds himself grieving and adrift in a harsh world. His sorrow is interrupted by
the treacherous Queen Taramis of Shadizar. She offers Conan the ultimate prize: the resurrection of Valeria through the powers of the god Dagoth. In exchange, Conan must embark on a perilous quest to retrieve a magical horn capable of awakening the slumbering deity, and to escort the young, innocent Princess Jehnna to a distant mountain stronghold.Sensing the queen’s dark and deceitful nature, Conan agrees only for the sake of seeing Valeria again. To ensure success, he assembles a formidable and eccentric band of warriors. This diverse fellowship includes his witty and loyal wizard friend Akiro, the wild and lethal female bandit Zula, the giant Nubian warrior Malak, and Bombaata, the hulking captain of Taramis’s royal guard, whose true loyalties remain dangerously ambiguous throughout the journey. As the group traverses treacherous terrains, faces ambushes, and battles supernatural entities, Queen Taramis secretly plots against them. Her true motivation is far more sinister than she initially lets on; she intends to sacrifice Princess Jehnna to fully awaken Dagoth, thereby plunging the world into eternal chaos and granting Taramis absolute, unchecked power. Bombaata is secretly instructed to sabotage Conan and eliminate him once the horn is secured. The climax takes place deep within the icy, booby-trapped inner sanctum of the ancient mountain stronghold, where the magical horn is finally utilized. Bombaata turns on Conan, leading to a brutal, bone-crushing showdown. Simultaneously, Jehnna is placed upon the sacrificial altar as the monstrous, multi-armed god Dagoth begins to violently break through his stone shell, threatening to engulf the entire realm in apocalyptic terror.Drawing upon every ounce of his legendary strength and indomitable will, Conan defeats Bombaata and rushes to the rescue. In a desperate, high-stakes battle against
the awakening abomination, Conan manages to shatter Dagoth’s mystical heart, causing the colossal entity to collapse and crumble into dust. Queen Taramis’s wicked ambitions are violently thwarted when she is killed amidst the chaos. With the kingdom saved from eternal darkness, Princess Jehnna ascends the throne as a rightful and just ruler. Offered a place by her side as king, Conan politely declines the crown and the luxuries of court. Preferring the freedom of the open road, the brooding Cimmerian rides off alone into the horizon, ready to forge his own destiny once again.
